    World Oceans Day

On Sunday (10th), Brighton College Al Ain will take part in CNN’s World Ocean’s Day to raise awareness of the devastation plastic is having on our oceans. We would like you to support us by wearing blue on this day and making sure that your child’s packed lunch contains no single – use plastic – straws, plastic bottles, plastic zip lock bags etc. We will take photos and videos of your child’s lunch and send it to CNN to demonstrate our participation and these may be featured on their website and news features. Please click here for the CNN page. More information can also be found here

    World Oceans Day

On Sunday (10th) the children will receive an education on the problem of plastic pollution and how it is damaging the earth through a range of activities and teaching within the classrooms. If you would like to be involved then you can create an outfit with your child for our ‘Trashion Show’ out of the single – use plastic already within your home. Please do not purchase more to make a costume as that would only add to the ‘Plastic problem.’ The children can bring their outfit into school in a bag and then change into it before our “Trashion Show’ and their walk along the catwalk. There is a prize for the best costume so please do support our values, get creative and show compassion for our planet!

Hats and bottles – outdoor play

As you are aware we have a 'No hat - No play' policy in the Junior School. Please make sure that your child has their Brighton College uniform hat while at school. Branded (non-uniform) hats are not permitted. It is advised that pupils wear the legionnaire style hats as they offer protection to the neck and head. Many thanks for your understanding and support with this matter.
