    Little Mermaid

    This delightful, musical comedy show with plenty of audience participation and interactive is on Tuesday 15th May at 10am for Year 4 to Year 13 pupils and at 1pm for FS1 - Year 3 pupils. A poster can be viewed here
    Please note that FS pupils must have a parent or guardian to accompany them and children in Years 1-3 may have a parent or guardian accompany them. Children who do not attend Brighton College Al Ain may not participate. There is a limit of no more than 2 parents or guardians per pupil in FS 1 through Year 3 and each person in the Theatre must have their own ticket. The deadline for ticket purchases was 4pm on Tuesday 8th May. If payment was not received by the deadline, your reservation will have been cancelled.

    Camp runs from 9am to 2.30pm, starting w/c 8th of July and will run all summer long.

    Thank you to parents who have paid the re-registration fees to secure their child’s place for the 2018-2019 academic year. Re-registration fees should have been paid by the end of April. Please contact Mrs Annie Leggett at and she will discuss this with you.

    Ramadan information

    A letter from the Head Master can be read here in English and here in Arabic, outlining Ramadan arrangements. 


    The Food Nation Menu for this term can be found here. The menu is based on a two week, rotating menu i.e. next week is Week 2 and the following week will go back to Week 1 etc.

    Junior School Teaching Learning Assistant

     We are currently recruiting for the role of a Junior School Teaching Learning Assistant from August. The Teaching Learning Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day support of the teacher and children within the Junior School classrooms and would ideally be enthusiastic, have excellent inter personal skills, motivation and creativity, coupled with fun-loving ideas and inspiration.
    If you believe that you have these qualities and are interested and would like to apply for this position, please email your CV and one side of an A4 cover letter to Julie Plomer, PA to the Head of Junior School at by Sunday 13th May.

    Junior School Notices


    Lost Property

    A number of items including school hats, jumpers, lunch boxes and water bottles are still unclaimed. Please speak to Eman Abdel-Maksoud at the Main Reception desk in the Junior School for further information. Any unnamed items not collected by Monday 14th May will be put on display in the Junior School corridor on Tuesday 15th May. Please feel free to avail of any items that you may be interested in using. You may make a non-obligatory financial donation to the Red Crescent should you wish to do so.

    Junior School Celebration Afternoon 

    Parents are cordially invited to the Junior School Celebration Afternoon on Wednesday 16th May. The Celebration Afternoon in FS1 and FS2 will take place between 12.10-12.50 and between 12.50-1.30 for Years 1-5.  This offers you an opportunity to visit your child's classroom to see how busy they've been this term and for them to share their projects and favourite pieces of work with you.

    Years 1-5       -     08.30-13.30 
    Please be prompt when collecting your child at the end of the school day

    Wellbeing Day

    Please note that the Wellbeing Day scheduled for Monday 14th May has been postponed and will be rescheduled for after Ramadan. Monday 14th May will now be a normal school day and pupils will follow their normal schedule.

    Study leave

    Study Leave for all Year 11 & 12 AS level pupils and Year 13 pupils commences on Sunday 13th May. If your son/daughter wishes to meet with any teachers during this time, he/she should email teachers directly to arrange an appointment. We wish all pupils sitting examinations the best of luck!
