    Lost Property

A number of items including school hats, jumpers and water bottles are with Eman Hassan at the Reception Desk in the Junior School. Please make sure that your children’s items of clothing, water bottles and lunch boxes are clearly labelled so that we can return items to their correct owners when found. Many thanks for your support and understanding.

    Year 1 – 5 Celebration Afternoon

    Pink Day

Pink Day is on Sunday 29th October and we would like to encourage children to come to school wearing an item of pink, to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

    Weekly parent emails

Pre-Prep will be using the '2Simple' Software for the weekly e-mails after the Half Term break. This system is the same high-quality system used in Early Years and has received overwhelmingly positive parent feedback.
Please could all parents ensure that their e-mails are correct and up-to-date. If there are any changes, please ensure they are updated centrally and that the class teacher has the correct version.

An explanation e-mail was sent to all parents during the week beginning 15th October and the class teacher will send an invitation e-mail, marked from 2Simple, next week (beginning 22nd October). Please check your 'Spam' or 'Junk' boxes for this email.

Clothing must remain in line with College uniform policy, including the wearing of sensible footwear, and girls must ensure that they have knees and shoulders covered.

New ECA programme 29th October – 14th December

As the temperature cools slightly it gives our PE department the opportunity to run more sports outside. There will be an amended ECA programme that officially runs from Sunday 29th October until Thursday 14th December. The PE department are keen to get these sessions started as soon as possible and so will start encouraging pupils to sign up and join next week.

You will receive an email from BCAA via SchoolsBuddy for signing-up.
If you still have any SchoolsBuddy issues, contact dangus@brightoncollegealain.ae
Anything to do with the PE programme, contact pmiller@brightoncollegealain.ae

Please note that only pupils who have been selected for Swim Squad can sign up for the Squad sessions. The days are the same – Sunday (am), Monday (pm), Wednesday (pm) and Thursday (am) and the expectation is that they attend at least two sessions.

Please could parents check at home for any science textbooks that pupils may have accidentally borrowed and taken home. We had 20 ‘Activate 3’ yellow textbooks and now we only have 7. Your support is greatly appreciated.
