    Graduation: Class of 2017

On the evening of Thursday 15th June, Brighton College's first Graduation Ceremony took place, attended by, President of the Diwan of the Crown Prince and Chairman of Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones and Chairman of Etihad Airways.

His Highness presented graduation certificates to the Year 12 pupils, and congratulated them, wishing them success in their pursuit of further educational attainment and personal development.

Dr Greig, the Head Master, said he hoped that the graduating pupils had enjoyed their time at the College and would look to the future with confidence, noting that they have successfully passed an important stage in their lives, ready to move on to the next academic level. He asked them to uphold the new College values of Honesty, Respect, Creativity, Compassion and Leadership, and to remember that they will always be welcome at the College as Old Brightonians. Dr Greig also thanked the teaching staff for their professionalism and hard work, and the parents for their strong support of the College.

The College has had remarkable success since inception in 2013, and the first batch of pupils have graduated from an establishment proud to offer academic excellence in the widest possible sense, to a community of learners who are a unique mixture of local Emirati and international families.

Mr. Joe Hall (Head of Sixth Form) said that the College had reached an important phase in its history, and that we could all feel the accomplishment achieved by the first graduating pupils. He was confident that the skills, knowledge and values accumulated by pupils during their years at Brighton College are seeds that will flourish and help them tremendously in their future careers.

Please join us in wishing the Class of 2017 all the best for success and accomplishment in their bright futures!
